Charles Dickens was an English writer and social critic. He created some of the world's best-known fictional characters and is regarded by many as the greatest novelist of the Victorian era. His famous works include: A Christmas Carol[1][2], Oliver Twist and Great Expectations[3], Bleak House[4], Old Curiosity Shop[5] and A Tale of Two Cities.[6]

In the 1940's Sensitivo tried to steal letters written by famous writers such as Edgar Allan Poe and Charles Dickens. [7]
Storm quoted Dickens at a dinner party saying; It was the best of times, it was the worse of times.[6]
Domino is given a puppy named Pip after the character written by Dickens.[8]
When the X-Men played secret Santa one of the gifts was beat up old copy of "Great Expectations" by Dickens.[3]
Deadpool taunted a less so articulate villain comparing him to Dickens.[9]
Matt Murdock went to purchase an early edition of "Bleak House" written by Dickens as a birthday present.[4]
When Vivisector of the X-Statix was injured he was compared to Dickens character Nell from the "Old Curiosity Shop". He then quoted Oscar Wilde; "One m-must have a heart of stone... to read the death of Little Nell without laughing." So said dear Oscar Wilde wh-whom I sh-shall no doubt shortly meet...[5]
When Loki was sent to the past he appeared in a ghostly form unable to interact with people claiming "Ahhh, it's Dickens rules, I'm a Ghost of Christmas Past."[10]See Also
