History

The Children of Satan were a cult of Satanists.

Morbius met a member of the cult named Carolyn while searching for his missing fiancée Martine Bancroft. Carolyn took him to meet another member named Madame Laera, telling him that she was a mystic who could locate Martine with her crystal ball, as "missing-persons" are her specialty. Morbius sees a vision of Martine, dead, and shatters the ball in rage-- releasing the demon Nilrac, who only sees death, from within. Morbius slays Nilrac but is overwhelmed by hunger in the battle, also killing Madame Laera before realizing what he's done and fleeing with Carolyn.
