History
The Children of the Atom were a religious organization from the Eastern region of Hi no Kuni, one of the seven territories that made up the world, that sought to help children with unique abilities that set them apart from the rest by teaching them the tenets of the Testament of X. In reality, they were a cult of mutants who often gathered behind the scenes of humanity to experiment and learn undisturbed.[1][2]
Notes
- The Children of the Atom appear to be the Earth-6160 equivalent of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, the X-Men's nemesis organization.
Trivia
- The Children of the Atom draw heavily from Japan's new religious movements, particularly the controversial Happy Science.
