Chris Cooper was first introduced to Marvel through "the old 1966 Marvel cartoons with the really bad animation." As a teenager, he again became intrigued by comics when he found an issue of X-Men in a convenience store.[1]
Professional History
Chris Cooper first worked in magazine publishing but he would "always say, 'I'm working in magazine publishing, but I think what I really want to do is work at Marvel.'" Kelly Corvese, a friend of his, helped him meet with Bob Budiansky who told Cooper that he was "way overqualified for this job [at Marvel]."[1]

- Chris Cooper is an avid bird watcher. He was featured in the documentary Birders: The Central Park Effect, and would later go on to host the National Geographic series Extraordinary Birder.
