History
Chris Jarkoer was a nice, average high schooler who tried several times to ask out Mayday Parker.[1] May finally agreed to a date with Chris, inviting him to her friend Norman Osborn's engagement party. Unfortunately, Normie was attacked at the party by his ex, Fury the Goblin Queen, who forcibly bonded him with the Venom symbiote. Chris freaked out during the chaos, and was still shaking hours later when he called May to calm him down.[2] Nevertheless, Chris bragged at school for the next few days about his heroism during the attack. When he saw Mayday overhearing his braggadocio, Chris blanched and he and May left each other alone.
