History
Churchill was a town in Manitoba, Canada. During the War of the Realms, it was taken over by Frost Giants as their base of operations. In the process, they destroyed some of the town's buildings and used others as material to build bigger, giant-sized buildings. They also set up an infraestructure to fish beluga whales from Hudson Bay and then distribute them to their other outputs.[1]
In an effort to fend off the Frost Giants, Squirrel Girl and Ratatoskr intruded into the town.[2] Squirrel Girl deduced they could starve out the invaders, and the duo realized they were hunting whales. After Squirrel Girl tore down the crane being used for fishing and Ratatoskr communicated with the belugas so they left to deeper waters, the duo talked the Frost Giants into retreating back to Jotunheim to protest against their king Laufey since he was sending them out away from home to invade North America, a territory that wasn't habitable for their kind in its entirety.[1]See Also
