History
Cindy Moon was bitten by the same Radioactive Spider as Peter Parker. Found by Ezekiel Sims, he convinced her to go into hiding to protect herself against the Inheritors. When Morlun was presumed dead, Peter freed Cindy from her isolation. She took an internship at Fact Channel News and moonlighted as a super hero. Covering herself with webbing, Cindy took the codename Silk.[1]

Silk's original look
When Morlun returned, Silk was recruited into S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Spider-Men. During the Totem War, Silk joined Team Amazing as she wasn't fond of the Superior Spider-Army's methods for dealing with the Inheritors. Shortly before recruiting Aaron Aikman to their cause, Silk decided to create a more traditional suit after her boss made fun of first costume.[1]
Following the defeat of the Goblin Nation, Black Cat created a criminal empire to fill the void. S.H.I.E.L.D. assigned Silk to infiltrate her gang.[1]
When Scream had a psychotic episode and decided to conquer New York City with the Symbiote Hive , S.H.I.E.L.D. took Cindy out of cover to locate missing agents, Peter Parker and Ben Reilly. While following Peter's trail, she was attacked by She-Venom, only to be rescued by a Venom Symbiote possessed Peter Parker. She was later given an Anti-Symbiote Ray and used it to free Leslie Gesneria from the control of the Agony Symbiote.[1]Attributes
