History

When Spider-Woman sent Spider-Gwen to look for more spider heroes to help them battle the Symbiote, she found Silk. Silk wasn't able to come to their help because the symbiotes were spread all over New York City, and she couldn't leave the whole city undefended while helping the Avengers Academy in their battle.

The following year, during Peter Parker's Homecoming Dance at Midtown Sci-Tech, The Vulture attacked. Among his captives was Silk. Eventually, she joined Avengers Academy and helped them defeat The Vulture.
