Clark DeBussy was a member of Division 3, a governmental organization responsible for tracking mutants. Division 3 wanted to know about David Haller's role in an incident at Clockworks Psychiatric Hospital that left Lenny Busker dead. Clark was severely injured when a team of mutants from Summerland led by Syd Barrett rescued David.[2] Clark survived the attack, but was covered in third degree burns. He later led an assault on Summerland,[3] going there to capture David, and ordered his team to kill the remaining mutants, but David quickly dispatched Clark's army, and he was subsequently taken into custody by the mutants of Summerland.
