Abilities

As the Tarantula, Clay Riley was extremely proficient with his eight tailed bullwhip. With it he could lash others, ensnare small objects and bind people. He was quick enough with his whip that he could almost without fail disarm an opponent before they could get a shot off. He was also a proficient horseman and gunslinger.

Weaknesses

For a time, Riley suffered from some sort of multiple personality disorder which caused him to have no memory of his actions as the Tarantula once he again became Clay Riley. This was no longer the case later in life.
