History

Cletus Kasady was a psychopathic serial killer known for his brutality and violence. He bonded with an alien symbiote that gave him abilities similar to those of the Amazing Spider-Man and enabled him to craft bladed weapons out of the creature's living tissue. Deadlier than ever, he became the killer called Carnage.

As Absolute Carnage.

Following his death, Cletus was reanimated and empowered by the dark god Knull and became his harbinger, bonded to the Absolute Carnage symbiote.

Notes

• In the Chinese version of the game, Carnage's color scheme is changed from red-and-black to black-and-silver. Similarly, the Chinese version of Absolute Carnage was changed to be a silhouette.

Karlin Malus

• One of Cletus' costumes within the game is of Superior Carnage, who is considered a separate character in the comics and other media.

Trivia

• Cletus' default skin is based off his appearance in the All-New, All-Different Marvel event, particularly Carnage (Vol. 2).
• Cletus' appearace as "Absolute Carnage" is based off Dark Carnage's final form - dubbed "Devil Carnage" by Ryan Stegman - from Absolute Carnage.
