History

Growing up with an abusive father and an alcoholic mother, Cletus Kasady had a very troubled childhood. He began to resent those who had what he didn't have: a normal family. As he grew up, he began to take an interest in death, something that would quickly turn him into a serial killer. At some point in time, Cletus underwent psychological therapy, which failed.

Kasady eventually began targeting other killers, leaving his initials, C.K., written in blood by the bodies. This caused the media to give him the name "Carnage Killer". He quickly attracted the attention of Spider-Man, who apprehended him. Cletus was sent to Ravencroft, where, unbeknownst to the public, he was experimented on.

Cletus eventually escaped after being bonded to a parasitic life form that greatly enhanced his strength. He quickly overtook Ravencroft and infected other inmates with the symbiote creature. Spider-Man arrived to stop him, just as Cletus completed his transformation into a creature known simply as "Carnage".

After a lengthy battle, Spider-Man defeated Carnage. Kasady's current whereabouts are unknown. [1]
