Clinton Barton (Earth-13122) from LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 001

Classic skin

Clint Barton was a circus artist trained in the use of archery and combat by two mentors he considered heroes. When he found out they were criminals, he ran away. Seeing Iron Man in action, he was inspired to use his talents to fight crime, with his stage name Hawkeye.[3] He became one of the members of the S.H.I.E.L.D.[2]

Chitauri Invasion[]

Attack on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Base[]

Avengers 2012 skin

Hawkeye was present at the S.H.I.E.L.D. base when the Tesseract activated, discussing the Tesseract with Nick Fury and Erik Selvig, the three were ambushed by Loki Laufeyson, coming through the other side of the portal and attacking the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. Clint and Fury were eventually able to back Loki into the portal chamber, where he used 12 projections of his image to fight them. After Fury and Hawkeye defeated these projections, Loki was able to take control of Hawkeye and Selvig, escaping with the Tesseract as the base begun to explode, leaving with the Tesseract as the base began to explode. Despite some resistance from S.H.I.E.L.D. Forces, Loki and his minions were able to escape.

Extraction at Stuttgart[]

Selvig working on a portal to the Chitauri army, Hawkeye and Loki headed to Stuttgart, Germany to help retrieve a piece of Iridium needed to complete the portal. While Loki provided a public distraction, Barton used his special arrows to break into the secure area and recover the Iridium.

Freed from Mind Control[]

When Loki was incarcerated in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, Barton led a commando raid against the vessel to extricate him, as well as to directly add to the chaos that Loki was seeding within his enemies. Taking out one of the Helicarrier's propellers, Barton then attacked Nick Fury and Maria Hill on the S.H.I.E.L.D. command bridge. After Fury and Hill were able to fight him off, Barton went to the detention level, drawing him into direct conflict with Black Widow, his staunchest ally, who both bested him in close quarters and was able to free him from Loki's influence when she struck a hard blow to his head that helped to dislodge Loki's hold over him.

Avengers Assembled[]

Upon recovering from the ordeal, Barton offered to pilot Captain America and Black Widow to Loki's location, which had been determined as New York City. Arriving at Stark Tower, Clint gave piloting duties to Black Widow, letting her shoot the newly arrived Chitauri fleet. Their flight came to a close when Loki shot down their Quinjet, forcing them to the ground. There, the trio found various group of civilians either trapped or vulnerable to Chitauri attacks. Upon rescuing the civilians with their various abilities, the trio formed up with Thor. The quartet continued fighting the Chitauri on the street, hoping to keep their attention on them and away from the civilians, while Iron Man provided air support. After making their way the Park Avenue Viaduct they were joined by Dr. Bruce Banner, who transformed into the Hulk and used his strength to stop a Leviathan in its tracks, allowing Tony Stark to target its weak spot and destroy it.

Triumph in New York[]

With the Avengers now assembled, Captain America took charge, having Iron man transport Barton to a higher vantage point atop a high-rise building to snipe at the alien air support. During the battle, Hawkeye briefly broke off from his position to help Captain America enter a bank full of citizens that had been cornered by Chitauri, using his grapple arrows to return to the his vantage point afterwards. Back at his point, he saw Loki on a Chitauri chariot, firing a piece of bread at him; while Loki was able to snatch the bread from the air before it struck, Hawkeye had planned in advance however, with the bread attracting a flock of pigeons that knocked Loki out of the sky and into Stark Tower. Upon Stark redirecting a Nuke into the Chitauri mothership, the majority of Chitauri troops died, with that and Natasha's shutting down of the portal signalling a successful end to the battle. After a brief scare where Tony had to be woken up by the Hulk, the Avengers were heralded as heroes by the majority of the world, with Loki and the Teseract being returned to Asgard while the Avengers went to get food at Shawarma palace. [2]

Cosmic Brick Incident[]

Oscorp Visit[]

During the Cosmic Brick incident, Hawkeye and Black Widow tracked Green Goblin to the Oscorp building. After working their way through the Times Square wreckage and infiltrating Oscorp with Nat's stealth capabilities, the two rendezvoused with Spider-Man, whereupon they were attacked by Green Goblin. The three pursued Goblin, working their way through the Oscorp labs until Goblin triggered Oscorp's security systems, shutting down various parts of the lab and turning any nearby scientists hostile against the three. After getting through the security lockdown the three engaged Goblin in combat, resulting in Goblin destroying a nearby elevator shaft to hinder their progress. However, at that point Goblin triggered a trap door, sending them down to the lower levels of Oscorp labs. Turning their attention away from Osborn and instead on escaping the lower labs, the three encountered Venom, who had manage to pervert the lower labs by infesting it with other Symbiotes, infecting both the environment and the Oscorp Scientists who worked down there. After working their way upwards, the three managed to subdue Venom by exploiting the symbiotes' weakness to sound and fire. However, the time that was wasted by their encounter with Venom gave Goblin enough time to escape with the Cosmic Brick. Their mission failed, Black Widow and Hawkeye reported back to S.H.I.E.L.D.

Hydra Hideout[]

Upon one of Tony's arc reactors, S.H.I.E.L.D. begun tracking its signature, sending Black Widow and Hawkeye to follow the signal. Despite initially inaccurate coordinates, the two were able to find and enter the Hydra base, where they found claw-marks pointing to Wolverine's handiwork. Upon going further into the base and encountering Hydra agents, the two met with Human Torch who helped them get past a locked door.Fighting numerous Hydra agents along the way, the three made their way to the command room, where they found Loki, Red Skull, and Arnim Zola who were creating a generator based on Tony's arc reactor technology. Spotting the three, Loki blasted them with his staff, knocking Black Widow and Hawkeye unconscious. After Red Skull and Zola were defeated by Human Torch, Captain America and Wolverine, Black Widow and Hawkeye were taken into a S.H.I.E.L.D. ambulance to tend to their injuries.[1]

Afterparty at Stark Tower[]

After the Cosmic Brick Crisis was resolved and Galactus was defeated, Tony held a party at Stark Tower. Natasha attended the party and, much like the other guests, found it lifeless and boring. After a DJ table was built and Nick Fury began to operate it, Hawkeye begun to enjoy the party.[1]

Stunt Show Surprise[]

Going out with Black Widow to the circus, the two found the potential romantic date ruined by Iceman, who unknowingly acted as a Gooseberry to the two. To make matters worse, Nightmare arrived to take over the circus. The trio took to work, with Ghost Rider joining them to help take down Nightmare. The trio fought projections of Nightmare's image whilst constructing ramps for Ghost Rider so he could ram into his true form. Ultimately, Nightmare was defeated and Clint and Natasha were able to continue their date.[1]

Age of Ultron[]

Sokovian Raid[]

After the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., Clint, along with the Avengers, started tracking down Hydra bases across the world, trying to find Baron Wolfgang von Strucker and Loki's Scepter. Finally, they tracked him down to Sokovia. Working with Black Widow to take down one of the towers, the two made their way upwards, where the Hulk helped destroy a nearby bunker that was firing on them. Eventually, Hawkeye encountered Quicksilver, who injured him in combat, causing him to be escorted to the jet by Thor.

New Threat at the Party[]

Back in New York, Barton was given medical attention by Dr. Helen Cho, who used a portable device that could regenerate human tissue, the restorative effect of Dr. Cho's process was able to bring him back to full health in short order. Barton was able to attend the afterparty to clebrate the missions, polishing his arrows and socialising. After the male Avengers tested their worthiness with Mjolnir, the team was attacked by Ultron, a newly formed artificial intelligence created by Banner and Stark, using the Iron Legion robots as his bodies. Barton and the others fought back against the surprise attack, he and Hill managing to give a combat advantage to Captain America and Iron Man before Ultron declaring his intentions, the extinction of the Avengers. In response, Thor destroyed his makeshift body with Mjolnir, though Ultron's consciousness managed to escape and they had failed to prevent one of the attacking robots from fleeing with the sceptre.

Anger Management[]

It soon became apparent that Ultron was amassing a supply of Vibranium, so the Avengers made their way to a salvage yard on the coast of Africa where Tony Stark knew of a supply. They arrived shortly after Ultron and the Maximoff twins, and when a fight broke out, Wanda Maximoff began systematically incapacitating the Avengers by inducing nightmare hallucinations in them. However, when she attempted to do the same to Hawkeye, He rounded her up and hit her in the head with a toilet flusher before she could use her power.

The mission was largely a failure after Wanda's power caused the Hulk to go on a berserk rampage, so Barton decided to pilot the quinjet to his farm where the group could lie low and reassess their situation in relative safety. Fury had kept Barton's family home a secret as a condition of his recruitment into S.H.I.E.L.D., so the other Avengers were surprised by the appearance of Barton's wife. The brief stay at the farm gave the team time to take stock of the situation, and they soon anticipated that Ultron was going to need the same regenerative technology that had been used to restore Barton after the battle in Sokovia.

Korea Prospects[]

Barton, Rogers, and Romanoff, raced for South Korea where Dr. Cho worked at a genetics research facility, and found that Ultron's plan to create a new android body for itself using her technology was already well underway. The robot had already detected their arrival and tried to flee, although Barton's uncanny ability to spot his target led him straight to the trailer being used to transport the android in its regeneration cradle. Barton's skill as a pilot and his ability to line up targets precisely were put to good use in flying the quinjet backwards, and nose-down, to catch the falling regeneration cradle in mid air, but the mission had a major setback when Romanoff was captured by their enemy.

Barton took the regeneration cradle back to Stark and Banner in New York where they began to work on the android body while he turned to using Cold War-era covert communications monitoring to listen for any signal from Romanoff. He eventually located her in Sokovia just as the others were reforming as a group, with three unexpected new allies in the android, now calling itself the Vision, and the Maximoff twins.

Rise of Ultron[]

In the ensuing battle in Sokovia, Barton found himself fighting alongside Wanda against Ultron's robot force, and he encouraged her to continue fighting by sharing his own doubts, but also his determination. When the battle died down some of the Avengers turn their attention to evacuating civilians, and when Barton attempted to save a pig, he came under attack by Ultron in the Avengers' own quinjet. As the quinjet's gunfire lanced out at him, Pietro rushed in to save both Barton and the pig.[2]

Kang's Invasion[]

In Chronopolis, Clint, along with Black Widow, end up dealing with the huge crime rate that was in the city, becoming overwhelmed. But thanks to the help of an ally, they can balance the crimes to deal with. Clint would eventually be picked up by a symbiote in Asgard, but he would be freed from the alien's control by the ally.[3]

Climate Conundrum[]

Time Twisted[]

After the Avengers discover that the Ant-Van was stolen by Thanos, Clint and the rest of the group go to the island where the villain and his allies (Hydra, Iron Monger, and Ultron) were and fight them to win the fight. [4]
