Synopsis for "Collateral Damage"

Finding the real Jerry Salteres, Spider-Man contacts his wife, but discovered that Jerry will die for real, the woman is devastated and declares that she will sue Peter Parker.

Kaine is certain that Ben is not dead, and decides to hunt him down by separating from Peter in a not very friendly way. Gwen notices that he is still sick, and that they can seek a cure in the multiverse, but Peter's clone is sick of jumping from one universe to another and convinces Gwen to return to her world. Distraught with grief over his wife's second death, Rhino begins to freak out, but Spider-Man manages to calm him down. Fortunately, no one is contagious, and the effects of the infection will disappear in a few days thanks to a drug created by Max Modell. Meanwhile, Curt has managed to prevent his wife and son from melting by turning them into humanoid lizards like him.
