History

Clyde Farnum was a police officer in debt for $28,957 to Mr. Rigoletto. Rigoletto's book had been acquired by Wilson Fisk after he took over his operations.

Fisk's right hand James Wesley extorted Farnum into attempting to kill Karen Page, who had been framed for murder by Fisk's men and was arrested in Farnum's precinct, or Fisk's men would have killed Clyde's daughter Tracy.

Farnum tried to kill Page in her cell, but she was able to defend herself and cry for help. Clyde was later found dead in his house, having being led to commit suicide.
