History
Collecton was a planet that became the base of operations of the Collector at some point in time. It is operated by his servants, more predominately the Gatherers.[1]
After being kidnapped by one of the Gatherers, Howard the Duck escaped with the help of the Guardians of the Galaxy while the Collector was attending the "CosmoCon." They tried to escape with as many prisoners as they could, but they managed to leave with only other eleven specimens.[2] The escape caused damage to sections 26 and 27, and extensive damage to section 25.[3]See Also
