Synopsis for "The Gun That Stopped Dog Company!"

Combat Kelly and Penny Pennington are among American soldiers trying to cross over into the 38th parallel into North Korea through a tight canyon pass but are forced to go back when communist troops on the other side with an artillery cannon. Forced back Penny saves an eagle from a trap earning the birds trust.

With no options on how to get around, over, or through the enemy camp, Combat and Penny are surprised when the eagle arrives and begins dropping possessions that it stole from the communists on the other side. Coming up with a plan, they give the large bird of prey a bundle of explosives to drop on the enemy troops, blowing up their artillery cannon to allow them to push forward.

Synopsis for "Their Rifles Had no Bullets!"

Combat Casey and Penny Pennington are with George Company trying to clear the Imperial Japanese to Akai atoll. Pinned down the American soldiers are forced to hold off their attack until the morning. However the Imperial Japanese troops sneak into their camp and steal all their ammunition supplies.

Combat and Penny volunteer to sneak over to enemy lines with some troops and steal back their ammunition. However the Japanese have anticipated this and replaced the ammunition with rocks. Despite this setback, Penny comes up with a solution. When the Japanese charge at them the next day the American soldiers fire back until they are out of ammo and then use their secret weapon: bolos made out of the rocks in the crates, easily defeating the enemy troops.

Synopsis for "The Commies' Cold War!"

With the Korean War over, Combat and Penny have volunteered to stay in Korea as members of the Military Police to defend South Korea from communist spies. They catch such spies trying to rob a freight train and go after them, jumping from their heeps to the train. They easily trounce the agents and take them prisoner.

They return to base where they are assigned to assist Mr. Sum Kim in guarding his supply trucks from communist spies as they are transporting materials to American bases. On their various supply runs, Combat and Penny are integral to defending the convoys each time they are attacked.

On the last trip, they have to stop when the radiator of their jeep begins to overheat. However, Penny reveals that he has deduced that Sun Kim is in league with the communists by telling them where his own convoys are going. When communists soldiers get the drop on them and begin taking the trucks, Penny opens the radiator cap, spraying hot water into Kim's face and allowing Combat to get to the machine gun on their jeep and blast the escaping vehicle of communists and take Sum Kim prisoner.
