Synopsis for "Combat Kelly"

Combat Kelly and Cookie Novak spot a woman who is about to beheaded by a group of Chinese soldiers and come to her aid, saving her life by killing her would-be executioners. However, when one of the men survives the attack and tries to shoot Combat in the back, the woman grabs his gun and shoots the enemy soldier dead. As they flee the scene, the woman explains that she is a South Korean spy and that she discovered a Chinese secret when she was captured and sent to be executed.

She then leads the two Americans to the secret she uncovered: A new model Chinese fighter plane. They spot Major Chung, thew man who ordered the woman to be executed. They watch as he starts to bury something in the ground. Combat and Cookie attack and find that the man was burying dynamite. Suddenly the woman pulls out the gun carried by the now unconscious Major Chung and trains it on the two Americans. She reveals that she is really Red Mary, a communist agent and takes them to her commanding officer General Wu. She explains that Major Chung was the real spy and was attempting to stop the destruction of their prototype plan and turn it over to the Americans for a $100,000 reward.

Combat, Cookie and Major Chung are put in a jail to be executed in the morning. However, Combat managed to smuggle a stick of dynamite in with them and they blast the wall of the jail open. Making a run for it, the three men manage to steal the prototype plane and deliver it to American intelligence. Major Chung takes the entire reward, believing that Combat and Cookie don't need the money, as he has heard that all Americans are rich.

Synopsis for "Cookie an' the Commies!"

While on patrol duty, Cookie Novak spots communist gorilla fighter Bloody Mary setting off explosives in their ammo dump. As Cookie fights off the attack, Bloody Mary gets away. Spotting someone moving near the fire, Cookie jumps them and is surprised to find that it is a young Korean child. He takes the kid to Major Thorn and asks him if they can keep the girl around the base as a company mascot. Thorn denies the request, telling him that an army base is nowhere for a child and orders Cookie to keep watch over the child until ambulances arrive to take the wounded so she could be transported to an orphanage in Seoul. As Cookie takes care of the little girl over the passing days her presence warms the harts of everyone on the base including Major Thorn.

One night the base is attacked again by the gorilla forces of Bloody Mary. Cookie is assigned to recon duty around the woods to search for more attackers. There he almost shoots the little girl when she sneaks up on him. Realizing the danger that the little girl is in, he realizes that he has to turn her over to the orphanage in Seoul. Bloody Mary gets the drop on Cookie and takes him prisoner, however when the little girl reveals her presence, it distracts Mary long enough for Cookie to subdue his captor and take her prisoner instead. Cookie then takes Mary back to base as his prisoner intent on sending the little girl off the base as soon as transport arrives.
