Synopsis for "Combat Kelly"

Combat Kelly and Cookie Novak are assigned to find the secret headquarters of Colonel Fajen. Along the way they are attacked by Chinese soldiers, the Panther Lady and her two panthers. Combat and Cookie slay the Chinese soldiers but while they are busy fighting off the big cats, the Panther Lady pulls a gun on them and forces them to surrender. They are taken to the hideout of Colonel Fajen. There she convinces Colonel Fajen that they can use the two Americans to smuggle information to their gorilla soldiers in the south.

However while the Panther Lady is trying to charm Fajen, Combat manages to grab her pistol and hold them hostage. Demanding that the Colonel turn over the secrets, he refuses. Combat pulls open the Colonel's robe and sees that there is Chinese writing on his chest. Combat believes that these are the secrets, and ignores Colonel Fajen's insistence that it is only a poem, Combat and Cookie tie up the Panther Lady and take Fajen back to their base. However when an American translator reads the tattoo he confirms that it is really a poem. Angry, Major Thorn sends Combat and Cookie back out to try and find the secrets.

While on patrol, Combat suddenly realizes where the secrets are being kept and they head back to the Colonel's secret base. Along the way they find the Panther Lady and her big cats. Combat slays the cats while Cookie takes the Panther Lady prisoner. Combat cuts open the panthers and finds the secrets hidden in the stomachs of the animals. They take the secrets back to Major Thorn, and he dispatches American forces to root out gorilla forces in the south.

Synopsis for "From Cookin' to Combat!"

Cookie Novak tells the story of how he gave up combat to become a cook early on in the war...

Before Combat Kelly was paired up with him, Cookie Novak was a solider under the command of Sargent O'Hooligan. After clashing with Chinese forces, O'Hooligan is hardly impressed with Cookie's combat skills, and even though Cookie fought in World War II, the Sargent sticks Cookie on cooking duty.

While the other soldiers went out to clash with the enemy, Cookie usually found himself stuck preparing meals for them. One day, Chinese soldiers attacked him while he was preparing Thanksgiving dinner. Cookie easily managed to subdue them and put them to work preparing the meal. When the soldiers return they are impressed by Cookie's meal and how he was able to subdue enemy attackers.

Hearing that some of the men are caught up the line, Cookie forces the Chinese soldiers to help him bring them some food to eat. While the enemy soldiers are wiped out by their own men, Cookie gets the food to the other soldiers who appreciate the work Cookie has done.
