Synopsis for "Lonely Are the Brave"
Combat Kelly and a small portion of his squad infiltrate a concentration camp that's holding Native American G.I.s. Using a charge on the guard tower the soldiers and malnourished prisoners make a run for it but soon find that a large portion of the weaker prisoners aren't gonna make it. So three brave individuals run back and give enough time for the rest to catch up by shooting down a plane. However shooting down the plane was their own downfall as its wreckage came falling down on top of them killing the three men.
Upon returning to the base the United States Army choose to dismiss their act of bravery because they were previously accused of cowardice. Jay Little Bear disapproves but knows in the end that his people are survivors and that they will remain proud, but he questions how long that can last.
