History

These stars are worn by members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. They are communicators to that they can speak to one another over vast distances, can be used as a tracking/locating device, as well as trigger transportation to and from their various ships.

Notes

• The Guardians still used handheld communicators in Marvel Presents #5, so their stars were not modified into communications devices until some time after that.
