History
Cord Ryan was the lead man of the Zip-Tones that later became an actor. He is also an avid motorcyclist.[2]
While riding in Centerville, Cord nearly crashed into Patsy Walker and Hedy Wolfe. They later discovered that Cord was a member of the Zip-Tones, the band they had hired to play at Nan Brown's engagement party.[2]
Patsy and Hedy again encountered Cord by chance in San Francisco, where the girls introduced Cord to the novelist Julian Fairlee. After the actor Hap Tanner quit and stormed off the set, Cord was hired to replace him as the lead Flint Cannon in "The Spy Smasher and the Frantic Females".[1]Attributes

Notes
- As it was revealed in Defenders #89 that Patsy's teenage years were fictionalized into a comic book written by her mother, it is possible that Cord Ryan is a work of fiction. However, as some of the events in Patsy's youth have been specified as happening on Earth-616, Ryan's existence is suspect but unexplored.
