History
The Trader was an Elder of the Universe who sought to become a key player in Battleworld's geopolitics through his mastery of economics and bartering.[1] He hosted the "Tools of the Trade" segment on Anathi's show where he showcased various types of armor and weapons he sold.[2] When Galactus and the Chronoserpent's conflict threatened everyone across Battleworld, the Trader was among those who evacuated to the Battlerealm.[3]

Master Persuader: The Trader earned his title by being a master at his ability to barter and trade the lowliest item for the grandest treasure. He once managed to persuade Stark Prime's artificial mind to exchange some weapons for ordinary rocks.[1]
