History

Count Barzon accepted an assignment from the Bodavian Freedom Party to

kill Sigjid Roskoff, an outspoken editorializer. As the the Silencer, he captured him at the Bodavian Embassy in New York, then made him retract his editorials before killing him. He later attacked a Communist rally but was opposed by the Falcon, but escaped. At a rally in Roskoff's honor, Barzon arranged for a Hal Doerner to appear as the Silencer, to throw off suspicion. However, Barzon had planned to murder Doerner and believed that no one would suspect his double identity.However, Roskoff had left a clue in his confession letter, which the Falcon was able to discern, and capture Barzon, turning him over to the police.[1]
