History
During the 16th century, Count Sabbat of Latveria was an aristocrat.[1]
In 1588, Count Sabbat helped King Stefan I[1][2] finance the construction of a 110-room castle, overlooking the city of Haasenstadt, which by then had become the capital of Latveria; Until then and since the founding of the country, the King and his family, the Haasen dynasty had lived in a large manor house in the hills west of Haasenstadt. The Haasens entered the castle, by then completed, in 1590.[2] In recent times, that castle was renamed Castle Doom.[1][2]
