A cruel movie director shooting a Martian invasion movie on the desert is kidnapped by the real Martians, when their ship needs repairs the aliens return to earth saying they will free him if someone comes to his rescue, the director can only hope some of the people he miserably treated will save him.

Tales of Suspense #51The Green Thing!

The world is threatened when a plant based alien visits a midwestern farmer. The alien challenges the farmer in order to test humankind's strength and if beaten it will send word to its home planet of Fernius and commence the invasion of Earth. The alien shows off a number of impressive skills the human can't hope to beat given it prepared specifically against humans. Unbeknownst to the plant however a crow swoops down and crunches it seemingly stopping any previous powers it once held and saving the Earth.

Notes

  • Two Worlds to Win! was stated to be the end of "Gullivar Jones, Warrior of Mars!", but the story was continued in Monsters Unleashed #4 (February 1974).
