History
After Psyklop failed the Dark Gods in keeping Hulk away from K'ai, they caused him and Jarella to be snatched to Earth, where they had one of their worshipers revive the Crypto-Man and send him after them.
An illusion of a boy during the battle would had led Jarella to sacrifice herself, ensuring Hulk would not return to K'ai. For some unrevealed reason, the illusion flickered, and Jarella paused, prevening her demise. The Hulk destroyed the Crypto-Man, with the feedback destroying the controls and controller. Hulk and Jarella eventually found their way back to K'ai, where the whole plot was unveiled to them by Visis, the Voice of the Dark Gods.[1]Attributes
