History

The Cult of Khonshu was formed around 1,000,000 BC. It was first led by the very first Moon Knight, a caveman chosen as the avatar of the moon god Khonshu, and under his guidance the cult would battle those who they deemed enemies to their god, which included the prehistoric Avengers

The cult persisted throughout centuries, residing for an extensive period of time in Egypt.
