Doctor Connors was Peter Parker's science teacher at Midtown High School. He developed a formula to restore his lost arm, experimenting on various street animals such as dogs, raccoons and pigeons. His experiments kept breaking loose and wreacking havoc, attracting the attention of Spider-Man, Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy. When the three of them confronted Connors in his secret lab, Connors injected himself with the Connors Formula, transformed into a Lizard and fought the three, before being able to escape. The kids were able to reverse-engineer his formula and restore the animals to normal.[1] Much later, Connors resurfaced and they used the reverse formula on him as well. After being tranformed back into his human form, Connors remembered nothing since injecting himself with the formula and was left for NYPD to find.[2]
