History

Curtis Hoyle was a lieutenant of the United States Army during the Siancong War, where he came across and met Frank Castle.

Following his return to the United States of America, he became a member of the Rockhouse Operation under General Buktir Van Tranh's orders, eventually becoming his second-in-command. He was sent to meet Bill Messina, a man that killed their operative Wilfrid Sobel, claiming he wanted his position, but Hoyle recognized Messina as Castle.

Castle and Hoyle flew to Van Tranh's base of operations in Bolivia where he tried to kill Castle after his cover was blown. Castle managed to board Hoyle's helicopter and threw him out, killing him.
