History

Mutant Massacre

Cybelle was one of the Morlocks that lived outside of the main community of Morlocks, in the group called the Tunnelers, led by Berzerker. When the Marauders attacked the Morlocks, Cybelle along with other mutants were trapped with the Marauders in a section of the tunnels. Cybelle started to sweat out of nervousness, and melted a wall. She attempted to help her fellow Morlocks by creating an escape route. Some Morlocks got out, but Cybelle was stabbed by one of Harpoon's spears and was killed.

Krakoa

Many years later, following the foundation of a mutant state in Krakoa by the hand of Charles Xavier and his allies, Cybelle resurfaced as a citizen of the nation, having been presumably reborn by the hand of The Five, a group of mutants capable of combining their powers into a process of resurrection, brought together by Xavier as part of his plans for mutant ascension.

From the Ashes

After Krakoa merged with the White Hot Room, Cybelle began an illegal trafficking ring in Dubai that specialized in moving other mutants and abusing their powers until she was apprehended and taken into custody by local authorities due to intervention from Wolverine.

Acid Secretion: At will Cybelle could exude acid from her body that enabled her to sear a path through solid stone in seconds. It is not known why her clothing was unaffected by the acid.
