History

Cyclops (Lobe) (Earth-616) from Uncanny X-Men Vol 1 530 001

First powers manifestation

"Cyclops" was a young and rich man from San Francisco who wanted to be a hero. Passing through a selection process operated by Lobe's society, Sublime, he was chosen along with four others people, from thousands of participants, and was given the powers of one of the five original X-Men: Cyclops.[citation needed]

The "X-Men" were then sent into town to operate as costumed heroes, as a promotion for Sublime products, proving themselves to be messy and unorganized heroes.[citation needed]

When the true X-Men were battling the Collective Man, the impersonators came, intending to help their idols, but were soon knocked out by the Chinese mutant. The five of them were sent to the X-Brig of Utopia, and interrogated by the adamantium-poisoned Wolverine.[1]

Attributes

Weaknesses

  • Temporary Powers: Since "Cyclops"'s powers come from a drug consumed on a dose-to-dose basis, his powers are temporary. After an unknown amount of time, they disappear, rendering him a normal human again.

Paraphernalia

Equipment

Transportation

"Marvel Girl"'s telekinesis allow him to fly.

Notes

He seems to have a lack of control on his powers, as the original Cyclops, although this one was explained by a past trauma.
