When Dark Domain was formed, Daimon Hellstrom ventured into the Dark Dimension with some of the best occult masters of his reality to oppose Dormammu. However, their wills were not strong enough and most became Dormammu's thralls. Daimon was forced to fight and kill most of his companions, which left himself wounded as well. Found by Scarlet Witch and Valkyrie, he asked their ally to perform a simple ritual that would release the souls of his companions from serving Dormammu in death as well.[1]
