History
Damage Control is an organization established for the purpose of secretly safeguarding the remains of super-powered individuals, their super suits and related items that were eliminated by The Maker, a mad genius from another reality seeking to reshape the world in accordance with his own intentions.[1] Damage Control also has a public side, as it is on a retainer with Mary Jane Watson-Parker's PR firm.[2]

A Damage Control facility burned by the Human Torch
In may 2024, Iron Lad, Doom, and Captain America of the Ultimates raided one of the several Damage Control secret storage facilities filled with several super-powered corpses and costumes, and were attacked by H.A.N.D. agents. However, the Ultimates were able to retrieve the stored body of Jim Hammond, the android Human Torch, who incinerated all the agents.[1] On december, another Damage Control facility was raided and burned by the Human Torch.[3]
Notes
- The Hulk set a trap for the Ultimates, making Iron Lad believe of the existence of a Damage Control black site holding over a dozen of super-powered individuals that were set to be executed.[4] This may indicate that Damage Control could also be tasked with containing living super-powered individuals.
