Detective Carey was a police detective who was active during the 1940s. He frequently went after the female vigilante Miss Fury and sought to find her true identity. Detective Carey also wanted to know whom her alliances were with or against the law.[2]
After he became acquainted with Marla Drake, a socialite, he fell in love with her and was soon competing for her affections with her fiance, Lt. Gary Hale.[1]Attributes
