History
Danny Fear was the leader of the Yakuza's science division, the Shogun Reapers, who were building a cannon on the Moon with the ability to fire a ray in a frequency capable of controlling the Earth's plate tectonics.

When S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury Jr. broke into the base, Danny Fear dispatched countless Shogun Reapers to stop the intruder. He later confronted Fury personally together with two of his agents, all outfitted in shogun mechas. Fury hacked into the suit of Akihiko with his Prototype Eyepatch and had him fight Danny Fear while he slipped away to another room. Akihiko was then forced to fire at a window, decompressing the room, and causing all three Shogun Reapers to be swallowed by the vacuum of space.
A shuttle was later launched by remaining Shogun Reapers to retrieve Danny Fear, who remained floating in space safely inside the mecha.[1]
