History
Daniel Sousa was an agent of the SSR in the years following World War II. During the war, Daniel had lost his leg, and his prosthetic left him with a significant limp. Unlike the other agents at the SSR's New York City branch, Agent Sousa did not dismiss Agent Peggy Carter's abilities as an agent simply because she was a woman.[3]
In 1955, Sousa was killed in Los Angeles under orders from Wilfred Malick, his superior at S.H.I.E.L.D., after confiding in Malick about his suspicions of S.H.I.E.L.D. being infiltrated by Hydra.[2]Attributes
