Synopsis for "Betrayal"
Tarkington Brown, who works for the mayor, finds that he only has a few weeks to live, so he recruits some cops to form a criminal killing murder squad as his way of making a final contribution before he dies; While she is drunk at a party, Heather tells Tark that Matt is DD, and Tarkington sends his squad to take down the Man Without Fear. Heather is being held captive in Brown's office and throws hot coffee in his face just as Daredevil appears. But the two men are forced into an uncomfortable standoff---Brown will keep Daredevil's secret and Daredevil will keep his so he won't die in disgrace(a fear of Tark's). Returning to his law office,Matt hears from Foggy that a criminal they got released on a technicality has murdered a child.Does this give credence to Brown's ideas that "the thugs and the hoodlums are winning?"
