Quote1 I get it now, by the way. What you were saying before. I'm my own worse enemy. Maybe. I don't know. It's hard to tell sometimes. I don't see myself the way other people do. To me, a mirror's just a piece of glass. To me, Daredevil's one of the very best parts of my life. To you... he's the obsession that ruined it. We're both right, I think. I am my own worst enemy. That's why I could use a friend. Quote2

Synopsis for "Supreme: Part 4"

Having lost his appeal, Matt Murdock vows to take the case all the way to the Supreme Court. Elsewhere, Kingpin is pleased that Legal won the case but retains him for the further appeal, and also sends Wesley to remind Tombstone to finish the job. Matt enters a bar to speak with Foggy, who is not pleased to see him. Matt wants him to help write the cert petition to get the Supreme Court to review the case. Foggy says he has been much happier without Daredevil in his life. Then Tombstone enters to make another attempt on his life.

Matt starts a fire to create a smokescreen and takes out Tombstone’s thugs with well-aimed pool balls. With Tombstone unable to see, Murdock is able to beat on him until the cops arrive, causing him to flee. Murdock says Tombstone doesn’t make the list of his greatest enemies.

Chatting outside, he says Foggy is right that Daredevil is his own worst enemy, but it is a part of him, and he could use a friend. He apologizes to Foggy for all he’s put him through, and Foggy agrees to help take his case to the Supreme Court.
