Synopsis for "The Black Kitchen: Part 2"
Wilson Fisk is, together with Wesley and some of his lackeys, inside a secure vault, waiting for some improvement on the situation of the city, invaded by symbiotes. The mayor is anxious about the status of Typhoid Mary, who recently decided to become Wilson's personal bodyguard.
Fisk does not know that Mary has been bonded by one of Knull's symbiotes: she made a deal with the dark god, promising to fully give in to his power if he allows her to kill Daredevil. She approached the new Daredevil, the Greek assassin Elektra Natchios, who was fleeing together with a young girl named Alice. The two were pursued by Alice's foster mother, infected by a symbiote as well. Using Mary as a distracion and leaving her to fight against Alice's mom, Elektra takes the hand of the girl and gets as far as possible from the two possessed women.
Meanwhile, Matthew Murdock is fighting an internal conflict against the power of Knull: bonded unwillingly with a symbiote, Matt struggles to resist the corruption of the dark god, finding thanks to his faith a way to contrast his terrible influence. Back outside, Elektra and Alice end up facing both the monsters, and in the conflict Mary strikes against Alice's mom, killing her in the process just in front of the eyes of the poor girl. Elektra tells her to get away, or she will suffer the same destiny: after all, Mary wants to kill Daredevil.
In the prison, Matthew's faith keeps Knull at bay just for enough time to give him and Marcus, another convinct, a chance to free Daredevil from Knull's influence: sitting in the electric chair, Devil gets struck with an high-voltage electric charge when Marcus pulls the lever. Given that electricity is one of the few weak points of a symbiote, Matthew is freed from the parasite. With Marcus watching over him, he crumbles to the ground, exhausted. Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk decides to force his exit from the secure vault, as he must get on the streets to find Mary and see if she is all right.
Elektra is still facing the symbiote-powered Mary: she realizes that the enemy is too strong, and that there's no need to keep fighting. She's not Matt. So, using her abilities, Elektra fakes her death by stopping her heart for a few seconds, giving Mary the impression that she succeeded in killing Daredevil, Wilson Fisk's ultimate enemy and obsession. Mary leaves, letting Knull take full control of her. An afraid Alice comes to Elektra, who wakes up and explains what she did to the youngling, who was desperate as she thought also her hero died. Embracing her, Elektra tries to comfort Alice.
