Synopsis for "Are You Okay?"
After the invasion of the symbiotes in New York City, Elektra Natchios, Wilson Fisk and Matt Murdock are dealing with some consequences: Elektra saved a young girl from death while fighting as Daredevil in the streets of Hell's Kitchen. This girl, named Alice, saw her mother killed after being possessed by a symbiote, and she is now alone, with no one to care for her. Elektra asks herself if she will be able to help: she is not used to deal with weak people after all, but she has to help Alice after all that she lost.
Wilson is in the hospital, looking after Typhoid Mary, who was possessed by a symbiote: suffering from dissociative identity disorder, Mary had found a balance, also thanks to Wilson's actions, but then a third voice, the one of Knull, interfered with that process, making her once again afraid. Wilson tells her he's there to stay this time: she won't leave her anymore.
Matt, disguised as Daredevil, is meeting in prison with his lawyer, Kirsten McDuffie: Murdock is still in love with her, and suffering for how their story ended. Kirsten does not know that her former lover is under the Devil's mask, and this makes things even more difficult. But Matt opens up with her in the end, trying to make her do her job the best way possible. The new relationship he has with Kirsten is not Daredevil's only problem though: he struggles from socializing with people in prison, besides Marcus. Every man there is a criminal, and many of them were put there either by Devil on the streets or Matt Murdock in the court.
After him and Marcus have a brief exchange, serial killer Neil Rivait tries to talk with Devil, looking for a friend and probably also for some protection against other criminals. Murdock tries to talk with him, but he just cannot bring himself to do it: saved by the fact he's been convocated by Doctress Hayes, Matt excuses himself and leaves Rivait alone. He then enters the infirmary, where Doc Hayes waits for him. The two have an exchange about Devil's double life and his status, but also on his decision of serving a two-year term in prison.
Hayes considers Devil's action as the one of an hypocrite, telling him he follows the law only when it suits him. Both of them score some points, and leave with the promise to get back to the discussion. Getting out of the infirmary, Devil hears someone screaming for help in the showers: it's Rivait, targeted by several other men. Devil steps in and saves him, then retires to his cell for the night. Once again, Devil hears all the thoughts and nightmares of the people living caged with him.
He is suddenly alerted in the morning by a guard, who brings him with urgency to Doc Hayes: Matt is surprised by the fact, as his next meeting with the doctress was not expected until later. Hayes reveals him she called for him because Neil Rivait committed suicide in the night. With guilt suffocating him, Matt finally breaks, admitting to Doc Hayes he needs help, as he is not all right at all. Meanwhile, in the hospital, Wesley finally finds his boss, Wilson Fisk. Wesley asks him if he's ready to get back to business. Fisk answers him that he's tired of playing other's people games, and that he will once again play the game he always loved the most: killing Daredevil. He asks if the men secured him, then heads out of the building with Wesley at his side.
Elektra decides to face Alice in another way: she presents her with an offer. She knows how loss functions: soon, Alice will be angry. When this happens, she knows where to find her. In the gym. In prison, Daredevil sits with Marcus at lunch, and the two talk about what happened with Rivait. But as Devil puts the spoon in his own mouth, he alerts Marcus: he thinks he's just been poisoned.
