History
The Dark Aster was Ronan the Accuser's personal ship that he used to travel the galaxy and take care of threats with. He used this ship to attack Xandar. [1]
Notes
The word "aster" is a Greek word for "star". This means that the literal translation of the ship's name is "Dark Star". It is unknown if this is a coincidence.
