The Darkforce is a dimension just outside of the regular world's dimension. It consist of pure dark energy and it's very easy to learn how to access this energy, using it is a bit harder though.

The dimension is very dark and visibility is almost zero. Mystical light will penetrate it but just barely. Prolonged travel through this dimension will drain light/life essence from the traveler.

When entering this dimension you have two options. 1) Straight into the heart of the dimension facing the blackness or 2) through a halfway universe that is pure white filled with black spots that can be stretched and combined.

It's possible to drain energy from it. This energy can be used as eldritch bolt, etc. But there are more humans able to access this dimension. Its obvious that certain physical mutations can make access to this dimension and its energies possible. There are a number of mutants or mutated humans that are able to do this. From them we learn the possibilities this dark energies have.

The dimension itself can be used as a gateway for teleportation. The energy within can be made solid to form solid black objects, it can be oozed out to form a dark mists that is like the atmosphere in the dimension itself, it can be used to drain life/light energy, lift objects and/or beings so that they can fly. The atmospheric ooze can be formed to a thick tar-like substance too or as a shadow camouflage.
