History
Darkmoor is a desolate location somewhere in the north of England, steeped in myth and legend. There is a stone circle on the moor which is a place of great magical power and which appears to be linked in some way to the realm of Otherworld. Darkmoor Prison (where Hurricane was incarcerated) and the Darkmoor Energy Research Centre are also located on Darkmoor, as was Darkmoor Castle, ancestral home of the diabolic Kemp family (this may or may not be the same Darkmoor Castle formerly owned by Ranulph Haldane, the father of Dark Angel).
