History

Speedball was a member of the New Warriors who joined with Scarlet Spider in trying to stop Spider-Man from killing Mary Jane Watson-Parker after the Jackal placed into him a post-hypnotic command. When Ben and Peter entered Consolidated Edison, Ben blocked the entrance with his impact webbing since it was unsafe for Firestar to use her powers in the power plant. The group watched as the Power Plant and the pair were engulfed in an explosion.
