David "Davy" Crockett was a 19th century American folk hero, frontiersman, soldier, and politician. He represented Tennessee in the U.S. House of Representatives and served in the Texas Revolution.
The Human Torch and the Thing of the Fantastic Four encountered Davy Crockett on a time-traveling adventure.[1]
In 1836 A.D., the "Battle of the Alamo" took place, a pivotal event in the Texas Revolution. Following a 13-day siege, Mexican Army under the President General Antonio López de Santa Anna launched an assault on the Alamo Mission killing all of the defenders including Crockett.[2]See Also
