History

David Doughty was a janitor for Alchemax in the year 2099.[1] He stole a suit full of weaponry designed to exterminate pests - such as protestors and the homeless - becoming Roach-Man.[2] His reality was eaten by the End of Time, but Roach-Man was rescued by Finale the Ultimate Artist to join her Terminal Six.[1]

At the end of all time, Finale presented her plan before an ecstatic audience, introducing the Finalizer machine that could send her temporal profile back through time, to be reborn in every age. The Terminal Six have each retrieved a time-travelling artifact, Roach-Man having the Sphinx' Ka Stone, but Kid Carcass had been killed while trying to acquire Cable's sentient chronocomputer.Dr. Cephalopod urged Finale to abort her plan in lack of the final artifact, but Finale proceeded anyway, draining the life force of her fans to power the Finalizer. Dr. Cephalopod activated the artifacts and cast Finale's Shadow Template through time. Without Cable's computer to guide it, Finale's shadow form was interrupted, and in place of Finale, it was the form Gwen Stacy of Earth-65 that was cast across time. Infuriated, Finale demanded that Cephalopod and the Terminal Six track and kill those new Gwens. To that end she demoted Cephalopod as the leader of the group and recruited Nightbird, Gwen Stacy of Earth-21798 as new leader of the team.[1]

The Terminal Six have split, going after their targets in pairs. Roach-Man and Fossil went after Captain America (Gwen Rogers) of Earth-19785. She was already in the company of other Gwens - Ghost-Spider, Thorgwen, and Wolverine - and Roach-Man used his suit's claws to stab Wolverine through the gut from behind. He boasted of how he was going to kill Tyler Stone but was pushed back by Captain America with her shield. Wolverine got back up thanks to her healing factor and charged Roach-Man, piercing him with her claws and presumably killing him.[2]
