History

David Mitchell is an African-American civilian. He was captured by Agent Axis and placed in a machine as Agent Axis' hostage. What Agent Axis didn't expect is that the machine gave David Mitchell the ability to spin at super-speeds. Upon escaping from the machine, David helped to defeat Agent Axis and became a member of the Kid Commandos as the Human Top.

David Mitchell later appears as a resident of Valhalla Villas, a retirement home for ex-heroes and ex-villains that is located in Miami. He is among the residents that were temporarily de-aged by Mary Morgan (who used an unnamed Asgardian relic) during the Incursion between Earth-616 and Earth-1610.
