Quote1.png There IS no incompatibility Quote2.png

Daystar was the leader of the Galadorian envoy sent to the Kree homeworld Hala. Peter Quill (Star-Lord) had arranged for a demonstration of a new leading edge Galadorian defense program called "A-ware" to upgrade the Kree War-Net.

The Spaceknights were delivered to Hala by a Galadorian cruiser and proceeded to the planet to provide a demonstration of the new software. Once uploaded to the Kree systems, an apparent incompatibility arose causing the Kree defenses to go out of control. Quill asks Daystar remove the programming from the War-net but is rebuffed by the Spaceknight who states there is no incompatibility.

Quill realizes they have been betrayed and then attempts to have the systems purged and rebooted but is stopped by Daystar who crushes the communicator in Quill's hand. It is then that a 'techno-mesh' begins go exude from the visors of the spaceknight envoy and soon it is learned that the Spaceknights were under the control of the Phalanx.[1] It is later learned by the High Evolutionary that soon after the Ultron/Phalanx emerged, they attacked the Kree.

After quickly defeating the Kree and having 'selected' Korath that a nearby squadron of Spaceknights answered the Kree distress call where they presumably became infected.[citation needed]

When the Guardians of the Galaxy tried to infiltrate Ultron's base, Quill was captured. However, Mantis protected his mind from Ultron, sensing the telepath, Ultron sent Daystar to kill her, but was interrupted by Bug who managed to beat Daystar and stab him in the chest. However, since Daystar has cyborg physiology, it did not kill him, and he attempted to strangle Bug. Before he could succeed, he was shot in the head by Rocket Raccoon.[2]
