Do you have something better to do, vaRikk? Do you have a home to go back to? Family waiting? No, I don't think so. None of us do!

Sergeant deHalle[source]

Sergeant deHalle was a ranking member of the Light Brigade, the most elite military group of Majesdane.

History

During a visit from her brother, vaDanti, on Gheshua 9, the siblings learned that the Skrulls had destroyed Majesdane. The Skrulls had discovered the coordinates of Majesdane from Frank Dean, Karolina's fugitive father.[2] DeHalle was part of the Light Brigade when they were searching for Karolina Dean to bring her to justice.[4]

Once they arrived on Earth, the Light Brigade attacked the Runaways in their Malibu House. When Nico Minoru cast a spell to scatter the Light Brigade, and deHalle was teleported to Antarctica.[5] DeHalle and the others was eventually rescued.[6] She was present when the Light Brigade was duped into taking captive Xavin posing as Karolina Dean.[7]

Years later, Xavin had won Karolina's acquittal and joined the Majesdanian army in their true identity, becoming a general. When Karolina's solar energy became almost fatally depleted, the Majesdanians became alerted to her condition. Under Xavin's orders, deHalle and vaDanti traveled to Earth and retrieved her so they could treat her injury.[1]

Attributes

Powers

Majesdanian physiology: Her Physiology allows her to absorb and manipulate solar energy to generate a bioluminescent, rainbow-colored aura. This solar powered aura: allows her to naturally absorb solar radiation and reradiate it as light and energy.

  • Solar Energy Manipulation: deHalle is able to naturally absorb solar radiation and convert it into a unique energy type which she can manipulate for various purposes. Her power level is directly related to her exposure to sunlight. It is possible this is absorption of some sort of cosmic energy.
    • Solar Capacitor: deHalle can absorb and store solar energy in every cell of her body, even blood. Because of this, her blood is lethal to Vampires (even when Majesdanian powers are actively being suppressed).
    • Light Generation/Bioluminescence: In her natural state, deHalle's skin and hair are luminescent with shimmering, rainbow-colored light of solar radiation. She can also emit light to illuminate or disorient enemies. This vibrant appearance can be suppressed to appear human through training or through exposure to specific types of metal.
    • Solar Energy Projection: deHalle can manipulate and project solar energy in a beam of variable intensity and diameter, from a wide concussive blast to a thin laser-like cutting beam. Her energy blasts appear similar to the vibrant colors of her bioluminescent body.
    • Light Projection: She can convert her solar energy into light and freely manipulate that light. deHalle's light appears similar to the vibrant colors of her bioluminescent body.
    • Force Fields: She can control her projected energy or light to form powerful defensive barriers, enfolding shields, or restraints.
    • Heat Resistance: deHalle can withstand extremely high temperatures.
    • Heat Generation: She can also emit warmth, and increase the heat of her blasts.
  • Flight: deHalle is able to propel herself into the air leaving a rainbow-like trail behind and even carry others while flying.
  • Enhanced Strength: deHalle appear to be stronger than an average human possibly due to the strong gravitational forces of Majesdane.
  • Enhanced Durability: deHalle also appears to be more durable than an average human.

Weaknesses

  • Solar Energy Dependent: Like all Majesdanian, excessive use of her powers will drain deHalle's stored solar energy reserves. The effect is negligible during daylight hours; however, at night, it is possible for her to completely use up all the energy she has stored and therefore not have access to any of her powers until she is once again exposed to sunlight.
  • Power Suppression: Her powers can also be suppressed via contact with some specific metallic materials.
